.tr is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Turkey. It is administered by NIC.TR (under Middle East Technical University) Computer Center and Turkey Internet Society (Local Chapter of ISOC). .nc.tr and .ct.tr are used as second-level domains for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, which is a self declared state and not recognised by the United Nations, and as such has no country code assigned.

To register a .com.tr domain you have to prove that you need the domain for business purposes inside Turkey. Therefore we need the following documents:
- Turkish domain registration document signed and sent back.
- Copy of business registration certificate or trademark registration certificate that is a close of exact match to the domain.
- Proof that you have existing Business inside Turkey. Something like a copy of a trade agreement with a Turkish company or an invoice from a Turkish client is acceptable.
